As a historical novel enthusiast, my recent stay at Country Hearth Inn-Union City felt like turning the page to a disappointing chapter. the housekeeping left much to be desired, with unkempt hallways and dirty blankets dampening the experience. Despite the lackluster room conditions, the convenient location near public transportation and various dining options provided a silver lining. However, the language barrier with the staff and cleanliness issues tarnished what could have been a pleasant stay. The promise of amenities like free Wi-Fi and a microwave in the rooms fell short amidst the overall lack of cleanliness and maintenance. With opportunities for improvement in all areas from laundry facilities to guest services, my visit was marred by unmet expectations.
